The Turtles follow Shredder and Krang back into the Tehcnodrome and Don rearranges some circuit boards. An obvious trap, Splinter warns them of the danger, as the ray could potentially return the TMNT back to their original state as normal pet turtles. Leo destroys the weather device, while back down below, Shredder finally concedes to building Krang’s body.īack in the Turtles’ Lair, their regularly scheduled program is interrupted by Shredder who broadcasts them a bargain: they can have his retro-mutagen ray gun to return Splinter to normal, so long as they come and fight him for it. After a skirmish, the Stone Warriors and the Neutrinos return to Dimension X, while the Turtles fly back to the surface in one of the Neutrino’s Starmobiles. Learning about Krang from the Neutrinos, the group decide to invade the Technodrome yet again and send the squishy brain-thing back where he came from. The Turtles, April and the Neutrinos escape to the sewer and Traag and Moog use a device to turn New York’s weather into total chaos. Their diversion is a short one, as the Stone Warriors attack. After a brief scuffle, the two parties exchange info and decide to drown their sorrows in pizza and video games at the Clowntime Food & Games restaurant. But I can appreciate what’s going on and glad that long time TMNT fans are getting deeper roster characters.
I don’t need every one that drops personally, as TMNT was always farther down the line for me than Transformers or GI Joe. Overall though, I dig the toon based line NECA has been doing. I won’t go super hard into reviews as many of these have been out for a while. These here today were Joe Moore’s, courtesy of NECA, so I kinda got to experience everything since wave 1 all at once. I was able to grab a set online when NECA put them up recently so I’ll be jumping back in down the road. I am one of the folks who never found Bebop and Rocksteady in person, even with trying, so after the first wave I kinda timed out. It’s available to both US and International customers. The set is available from The NECA Store, and priced at $59.99, and is due out in the Fall. Both figures will also include interchangeable hands. Scumbug includes some roaches, a gas gun, a net launcher, and a fission detector. Antrax includes a sword, a knife, an axe, and a club.
